The Week’s Daily – Wednesday 12th August

Hello again – day three update on ‘getting your book out there’. We got up to the idea of self-promoting by video. So if you’re not bothered about getting your face out there and being a brand and being as was recognise, whether for good or bad, then get a camera out and get vlogging. If you’re British and aged anywhere between 16 and 26 it seems you need to get some stupid haircut, a vest, some lame tattoo and a baseball cap then you are guaranteed some sort of audience, so that’s another option, just get yourself out there I suppose and get your mug known, if you’re comfortable with that. Day 2 of ‘How to sell’ 11th August, 2015

So, to continue with my theme on launching your book, a word of warning, don’t use the ‘like’ system on Facebook, where you just pay to get so many likes – it’s fairly pointless really, people ‘like’ it because Facebook will target people who like everything they see so you will get your likes on your page but it’s meaningless because the people won’t really react to your content – which is a bit tricky for a writer as we are all about content!! The week #30 10th August, 2015 HOW TO GET THAT BOOK OUT THERE!

I think I’ve been at this for 30 weeks, I may have skipped the last two because of all the other stuff I have been doing so I’ll say 30 now (damn that’s a long time.) Any who, it’s gone fairly well so, from humble beginnings, and all the rest. My series on what it is to be a small time writer, that I did last week was well received, thanks, check it out here >>> if you haven’t already.  I thought I would continue the theme this week with the launch of Rose’s story, my second book, low bow thank you, I suppose first things first, Rose is out and I’m really happy with it. I found it a little bit difficult, more so than the first book, because I could kind of visualise myself in the main roles of Teo and the rest, whereas with Rose’s story the main character is a young girl, so not so easy but saying that it was liberating and  I enjoyed it a lot so I hope you pick it up now from here here>>

Tech Tuesday # 7  10th February, 2015

Hello, this Tuesday I thought I would talk about the new Samsung TV, some of you may have read or seen things about this new TV that may be listening to your conversations for the purpose of marketing.

Is it an invasion of personal space, of our liberties? Quite possibly, it is up to you to decide. Some may say they have nothing to hide and it doesn’t matter, some of you maybe a little troubled, but in fact this is not a new thing. Continue reading Tech Tuesday # 7  10th February, 2015
